This job is responsible for supervising all commercial plumbing technicians, materials and resources required to provide commercial plumbing service, installations, and maintenance. This job requires coordination throughout the Company to ensure success and compliance with our Construction and Accounting departmental procedures.

The primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintain positive relationships with all current customers, vendors, management team and Employees
- Create new business relationships by implementing and maintaining a successful sales strategy
- Assure customer satisfaction by maintaining high quality, timely, level of service
- Assist in ensuring company’s financial growth and profitability by creating and adhering to departmental budgets by Departments (i.e. service repairs, planned maintenance and installations)
- Work closely with the Accounting and Administrative teams to ensure timely approval of billings, payroll, financial reports, etc. as necessary
- Assist the Human Resource Manager in recruiting, hiring, terminating, training and evaluating of the service department personnel
- Ensure the most effective time and resource management to meet customer needs
- Ensure operation of a quality After Hours Emergency “On Call” Service Program
- Continuously evaluate technical ability of technicians; create and implement training programs to aid in their advancement
- Manage the seasonal workflow by assisting the marketing coordinator in the development of marketing activities to drive business in off-peak seasons
- Monitor and control job / project costs to meet original estimate or budget
- Control inventory of department personnel to include truck stock, tool purchases, warranty returns, special part orders, etc. in accordance with company policies and guidelines
- Ensure Safety within the department; report all safety issues / accidents immediately to the Human Resource Director
- Conduct Bi-weekly Plumbing Meetings to include, but not limited to, workload monitoring, customer issues, safety discussions and training
- Assist the Fleet Supervisor in conducting bi-weekly Fleet Inspections to ensure technicians are consistently presenting a well maintained advertisement of the company, as well as a safe, organized work environment for themselves; Coordinate fleet maintenance actions as requested from Fleet Coordinator
- Assist sales personnel and Project Managers on technical issues as needed
- Assist Leadership team with all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree preferred plus industry training
- 10 years of experience in the Commercial Plumbing Industry
- 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role
- Extensive experience with personnel management including recruitment, hiring, retention, motivating, mentoring, evaluation & accountability, training, and problem solving
- Experience driving financial results including a strong understanding of P&L statements, gross profit and revenue growth, and creating/maintaining budgets
- Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism for interaction with customers, co-workers, and the leadership team
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite and internal accounting and dispatch software
- Ability to travel within the Atlanta area (position is based in office & field)
- Knowledge of SAGE SM (preferred)
- Knowledge of TechTool (preferred)
- Candidate must be well-groomed, drug free, and possess a clean background and MVR
- EPA Certification
- OSHA Certification
- NATE Certification (preferred)
